Greetings everyone.
There were some great things happened last weekend and I'd like to share
them with you.
Saturday we played the much anticipated Denny Decker'
benefit at the Hitchin' Post. This event
was very well received with cars parked on both sides of Route 7 for probably a
1/4 mile in either direction.. Incredible turnout and support. So we came and we played for a couple of
hours, then we did some meet and greets and we were packing up the bus by 5pm
to make way for “The Wild Ones” Band to play some music that continued on until
late that evening. After it was all said
and done, there was almost $15,000 raised for Denny. What a nice day’s work for all. We’re glad we could help. In closing, we’d like to thank Cliffy for
saving our ass that day. We had a Great
time!
Saturday Night we were at “On the Roxx” for another primo
show with help of our Special Guest Herb Winters and we rocked. When KW gets some help freeing him up in the
lead/rhythm guitar areas of the bands performance, some special things start to
happen. Saturday night was no exception. It was one of our better performances for
sure. We had an early crowd though,
which sent the band home a little early.
We’ve noticed lately that midnight is getting to be the evening ender
time. (There are no Cinderella's here)
Thank you Herbie!
This weekend we are off, but Wednesday (11/21/2012) the day before
Thanksgiving we will be at the biggest party night of the year at the Hitchin'
Post. The Show time is 8pm.
And while I'm at it, we're live at Babcocks on Saturday,
November 24th with special guest star - the infamous Cliffy Clune.
So as we close out, be
well and be good and have a great Thanksgiving Week!
Peace and love out,
Mikee^^Dee
