Greeting everyone, and wow - August is here this week! Enjoy today!
We had another smokin' weekend. Last Friday night we got to party with our
sister band “The Blue J's”. We even got
to play part of a set with them. We love
you “Blue J's”. (The song "Shame, Shame
Shame" – I’m still hearing it in my head!)
Then Saturday we headed back up to North Afton to the Afton
Sportsman's Club for a family reunion. We had a great day and a great crowd and
once again a fantastic environment. If
you haven’t visited the Afton Sportsman's Club - you need to check it out. The club is located a half mile from the main
road and way back in the woods in a beautiful country setting. It’s the kind of place that takes you way
back in time. (you could almost expect
Humphrey Bogart to come walking out of the club house. It’s so retro – I love it) Nice job again boys and girls.
This week also marks a milestone in the Short Change Playbook
as we begin - The “Fun Week from Hell Tour” where we play four shows in four days. It’s been a while but we're gonna see just
what we have in the tank this week.
THURSDAY NIGHT CANS AND CLAMS - BIKE NIGHT at THE HITCHIN'
